Our Standards

Open Tab UK is not currently a member of an independent press regulator. Until we join one, we voluntarily follow the IMPRESS Standards Code in our reporting. We aim to be accurate and fair, and to report in the public interest.

Reporting and Opinion

We clearly label reporting, analysis and opinion. Our investigations are based on documents, public records and sources, and we give people and organisations we report on a fair opportunity to respond before publication.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and transparently. Corrections are noted at the foot of the original article with the date of the change. We do not quietly edit or delete published work.

Complaints

To raise a complaint about accuracy or fairness, email opentab.uk@proton.me with “Complaint” in the subject line. Please include the article link and what you believe is wrong. We will acknowledge complaints within 7 days and aim to respond in full within 28 days.
